MOVINGRAIL kick-off

Moving Block and Virtual Coupling Next Generations of Rail Signalling

On 29-30 January all MOVINGRAIL partners and complementary projects representatives from CONNECTA-2 and X2RAIL-3 gathered in Delft for the official Kick-Off event of our project.

The main objectives were to develop a common view on the project planning and outcomes, synchronizing work packages and liaising with other projects. Within the MOVINGRAIL project, the carefully selected consortium members will build on existing European and national research projects to bring together technologies and concepts that will significantly boost innovative and cost-efficient technologies and systems for railway signalling.

Following work package presentations and discussions, the actions and mode of working were decided for the upcoming months. The MOVINGRAIL project Kick-Off event was the first in a series of five meetings, with our next project meeting foreseen on 4-5 July, hosted by PARK Signalling ltd.
